Charity Trustees (3 positions)

Operating across the North West, with Head Office in Liverpool

Do you share our passion for high quality independent careers advice, employment and training support that bridges the gap to learning and work, and better life chances for young people and adults?

About us:

Career Connect is a North-West based charity with a 20 year track record of delivering high quality and innovative services across the region and in promoting the impact of careers and employment-related services at national and international level.

Working on behalf of funders in local government, central government and charitable trusts our teams work with over 70,000 clients each year, delivering information, advice and guidance to enable those in the greatest need to improve their life chances through access to learning and employment.

We are an innovative charity, responding to changing external circumstances to diversify our services and increase our impact.   Further diversification will remain key to us securing a confident future, especially given the likely economic/social impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Early indications are that young people, low-paid workers and people on the margins of society will be impacted disproportionately as the economy struggles to adjust to the pandemic. These groups comprise the highest concentration of Career Connect’s beneficiaries.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking 3 new trustees to bring governance of the highest quality to secure today and shape tomorrow.

We need team players, experienced in operating at strategic level and passionate about improving the life chances of those in greatest need, we are especially interested in people with the following experience and skill sets;
